Join small scale mushroom cultivation expert Tom Nagy of River City Mushrooms as he introduces you to the world of homegrown gourmet and medicinal mushrooms. During this program, you will acquire a basic understanding of what mushrooms and fungi are, what species and varieties can be easily grown both indoors and outdoors as well as how to best care for them to ensure consistent and bountiful crops of beautiful mushrooms. As part of the event, you have the option to assemble your own lion’s mane mushroom grow kit that you can take home to grow and enjoy. All of the necessary aspects of care for your grow kit will be covered during the program.
